A dream qualifies as lucid when the user makes the realization that he or she is dreaming and is able to both sustain and control the dream. Lucid dreamers can do just about anything; the possibilities are only limited by the imagination.
What are the Levels of Lucidity?
During a lucid dream, there are many different levels of conscious awareness and control:
Level 1: The realization has been made, but there is little to no control of oneself or of one's surroundings.
Level 2: Semi-control of oneself, with little to no control over one's surroundings.
Level 3: Semi-control over both oneself and one's surroundings.
Level 4: Total control over oneself, but semi-control over one's surroundings.
Level 5: Total control over both oneself and one's surroundings.
